Lake Mountain Estates is the only age-restricted, retirement community in Boulder City. Click here for more Boulder City information. Many of these homes have views of Lake Mead and some are on oversized lots. Homeowners here own their land. Many also have RV parking and/or oversized covered parking for RV’s and boats. Driving through this community one notices many covered patios and porches facing the lake.
There are two community associations at Lake Mt. Estates. Phase one includes all the units to the north and east of Lake Mt. Estates Drive. There are no common area amenities in this phase.
Amenities in phases 2,3 and 4 include a small community center, community pool, and common area RV parking. These phases are south and west of Lake Mt. Estates Dr. The association fees run around $25.00 a month for both communities at the time of this writing. There are a total of 353 homes in both. This is worth a look if you appreciate Boulder City, want an age-restricted retirement community, and are looking for or are comfortable with a manufactured home. Note: Boulder City is only 20 miles from the Las Vegas, Henderson area. There is also an interesting financing option available for Boulder City homes through the Boulder City Credit Union. Prices here reflect the attractiveness of the community and area. They are, on a per sq. ft. basis, around twice as high as other local age-restricted manufactured homes communities.
Many folks have never seen Desert Big Horn Sheep in the wild. That would not apply to residents of Lake Mt. Estates or Boulder City. Took the photo below in Hemenway Park, approximately 1/2 mile from the community.
