PulteGroup will be developing a new age restricted community in Lake Las Vegas. 400 home will be built on 120 acres. It should have typical Del Webb amenities, proportional to the size of the community. The homes should range in size from 1,500 to 2,800 sq. ft. It is scheduled for opening Fall, 2019. I have no other specific information at this time. This community has not been announced by PulteGroup yet, but this information comes from three reliable sources. This is relatively big news, in that Del Webb and Pulte/Del Webb have not started a new community in this area in over 15 years. The mega communities of Sun City Summerlin and Sun City Anthem were started between 20 and 30 years ago.
Lake Las Vegas is a beautiful and idyllic planned community and is home presently to over 2,200 homes, condos, and townhomes. It is an interesting choice of location. There are many resort style amenities at the lake, including casinos, shopping area and golf. Basic services such as groceries and most medical services are at some distance, 5 miles or more away, at the present time. There is, however, a new Henderson hospital in fairly close proximity.
